After spending all of yesterday working on various projects, I decided to take it easy today. I slept in, did some laundry, and met Ayaka for lunch in Ginza. Afterward, I went to Alpha Beta Coffee Club in Jiyugaoka to get some work done. I really love this place. The coffee is great, the WiFi fast, and the minimalist interior design puts me in a productive mood.

I started feeling a little burnt out around 4PM, so I called it quits for the day. My second task for the day was to find sesame ice cream. Yeah, I’m not joking. During lunch, Ayaka said she was craving sesame ice cream, so I told her I would spend the afternoon hunting down the best sesame ice cream in Tokyo. After a quick Google search, I found out Gomaya Kuki in Omotesandō is the place to go for sesame ice cream.

On the way to Omotesandō…

Here’s what Gomaya Kuki looks like from the outside – very unassuming.

I ended up getting two scoops – one rich white and one rich black. I also added some sesame seeds and sesame oil. As expected, it was delicious. Ayaka and I will probably find ourselves here at some point this weekend.

Super relaxing day today. Good night from Tokyo!
